I would talk to them about often what I was doing and a lot of projects I was working on. And I remember I walked in, and I was like — I didn't know what to expect. And I kind of just like explored the different eight floors. And I found myself kind of in awe about just all the books, and the resources, and just how friendly everyone is. And just how beautiful the art is. Oh my gosh, it's one of my favorite places in the whole entire world. And it was awesome to be able to experience that and share that joy with someone who really understands. Because as a first-generation student, my mom didn't really know what Stanford was or Berkeley or UCLA.
